Martin J Grasso, Jr.

Mr Grasso is a Managing Director and Co-founder of Pearl Street Asset Management.  He is a member of the Investment Committee responsible for making recommendations regarding the investments made by the company’s investment vehicles. 

As a principal of a family office investment operation and multiple venture debt management enterprises, he has served as the General Partner and Managing Director of numerous partnership and LLC investment vehicles focused on late and early stage venture investing, mezzanine loan investing and corporate growth and buyout investing across a wide array of industry sectors with full management responsibility for portfolio performance and oversight.

Mr Grasso is a long tenured member of the Executive Committee of the Harvard University Alumni Association and has served as that organization’s president in 2016-2017 and also currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Translational Medicine Accelerator of the Brigham & Women’s Hospital, a Harvard Medical School affiliated teaching hospital in Boston.

Gordon Reinert

Mr Reinert is a Managing Director and Co-founder of Pearl Street Asset Management.  He is a member of the investment committee.  He leads the origination and underwriting relationships with the company’s origination partners.

Previously, he led the development of the company’s core IP including risk analysis, loan ratings, and portfolio and structure optimization models.  This intellectual property coupled with its proprietary database gives the firm a unique competitive edge in the field of venture loan analysis and portfolio construction.  These models were used to monitor risk, improve diversification and obtain ratings for leverage on venture debt portfolios.

Mr. Reinert worked extensively with leading venture lenders and created analytics for portfolios of Horizon, Velocity, Comerica, Imperial, GATX, and Comdisco.  Mr Reinert has more than 25 years experience in commercial lending, structured finance and risk management. Prior to Pearl Street (2001), he was founder and COO of Zenith Leasing Group (1996-2000) and President of Cromac Corp (1992-1996) an international trading company.

In addition to his exits with Cromac and Zenith, Mr. Reinert has been an active investor, board member, board advisor, and consultant to many early stage and growth companies including Telespine (current board member), Troppus (board advisor, acquired by Qualcomm),  and Incintas.

David Andrus

Mr. Andrus is a Managing Director and Co-Founder of Pearl Street Asset Management..  David has more than 25 years of experience as a serial entrepreneur in the technology sector and 14 years in the venture debt market. 

Most recently he served as the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, and member of the investment committee of an affiliated venture debt company. 

Prior to Pearl Street, he was the founder and CEO of Netwise, a venture capital backed company that was sold to Microsoft. Mr. Andrus has held a variety of management positions at technology related companies across multiple industry sectors. While he was in college at the University of Colorado, he helped develop the first global climate model at the National Center for Atmospheric Research.
